FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of nonspecific globulin and, additionally, rehydration preparation glucofuracid that contains, g: sodium chloride, 38-42; potassium chloride, 14-16; calcium acetate or lactate, 9-11; sodium hydrocarbonate, 24-26; ascorbic acid, 4-6; glucose, 190-210; furacillin, 0.9-1.1; and acetylsalicylic acid, 3.5-4.5. Administration is carried out orally as 10% solution at dose 0.2-0.3 l/day for 2-3 days. Prophylaxis effectiveness of method is 90-100%. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of method. 2 tbl
