FIELD: mechanical engineering; machining of cylindrical surfaces of flange joints. SUBSTANCE: machine tool has faceplate 4 bearing tool holders 5, faceplate rotary drive, feed mechanism linked with the rotary drive, means 13 for breaking the mentioned linkage, cam support 3 intended to engage the hole being bored and provided with self-aligning bushing 25 coaxially mounted in cam support 3, and pin 12 engageable with self-aligning busing 25. The pin is mounted coaxially in the faceplate in rolling-contact bearings. The machine is mounted on pipe 2 to be machined. After motor 8 is switched on, faceplate 4 starts rotating and moving progressively due to kinematic linkage of the feed mechanism with the rotary drive. In the course of rotation of faceplate 4 pin 12 moves in the same direction and slides along the hole of bushing 25 thus ensuring constant support for the faceplate.
