FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: power nut-driver has long-sized flexible power cylinder 2. Piston 3 is made in the ball form. Positioned at the ends of air cylinder 2 are channeled limiters 4,5 intended to limit the stroke of piston 3. At least one of these limiters is connected rigidly with the lever of wrench 6. Air distributing device 1 is made in the form of a flat confuser- diffuser nozzle 9 directed into two diffuser pressure channels 10,11 disposed symmetrically relative the center of nozzle 9 and associated at the nozzle exit section with two diffuser discharge channels 12,13. The outlets of pressure channels 10,11 are connected with the hollow of air cylinder 2 through the channels of limiters 4, 5. Air flow accelerates piston 3 inside air cylinder 2. When piston 3 strikes limiter 4, its kinetic energy transforms into a torque, which is then transmitted by lever wrench 6 via ratchet gear 8 to nut. EFFECT: convenience of use. 2 dwg
