FIELD: mechanical and transport engineering; velomobiles with V-belt drive between front disks. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention makes it possible to increase riding speed, facilitate riding, reduce influence of side moment of handlebar, reduce aerodynamic resistance of vehicle without increasing its overall dimensions. Provision is made for automatically changing gear ratio to suit road conditions. For this purpose bottom bracket unit is arranged in center of bushing of front driving wheel which makes it possible to use wheel with larger diameter of rim and to reduce influence of side moment on handlebar. V-belt drive provides automatic changing of gear ratio by means of screw coupling on driving pulley which is used instead of centrifugal governor with flyweights.
