FIELD: metallurgy, namely converter designs. SUBSTANCE: tilting converter includes carrying ring embracing with gap vessel of converter. Said vessel rests upon said carrying ring by means of levers, each lever is in the form of rocking rod. One end of each rod is joined with carrying ring, its other end is joined by means of omnidirectional articulation joint with vessel of converter. Said rocking rods are arranged only at lower side of carrying ring when vessel of converter is placed vertically. EFFECT: improved design. 14 cl, 6 dwg
