FIELD: mining industry; applicable in support of extraction workings. SUBSTANCE: method for support of extraction drifts includes drilling of holes in drift roof and installation in them of metal anchors of expanding type, building of frame support and reinforcing it at the junction with face by props; filling of drill holes containing anchors with self-cementing compound behind the breakage face at a distance equalling caving space of main roof. Self-cementing compound is supplied with the help of mortar pump through compound, the latter penetrate into cracks parallel to bedding to strengthen the drill hole enclosing rocks and to increase the load bearing capacity of anchors.
