FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this is intended for increasing length of foam advance in underground working and improving fire-fighting efficiency by combining isolating and fire-suppressing properties. According to method, generator produces inert gas with dividing it into two flows: high- and lower-pressure. High-pressure gas is delivered to foaming device to create low-multiple foam which is configurated in the form of wide flat pad on foot of steep underground working. Low-pressure gas is delivered to second foaming device installed inside compartment made by two partitions. One of these partitions which is made of net is used to create high-multiple foam which closes underground mining through its entire cross-section and is transported by flow of low-multiple foam moving downwards along incline of working. Foam-creating solution is delivered to foaming devices from vessel. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
