FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: it is erected in underground mine workings for isolation of aflamed section of mine from remaining part of mine. Such stoppings increase reliability of foam producing process and safety of operations. Active stopping has air inflated partition with excess-pressure valve. Located horizontally in partition is hollow cylindrical member with caps in ends which is made up of hollow rims interconnected to each other by parallel tubular rods. Also provided are sprayers for solution of foaming agent and nitrogen, foam-generating screen and gas-generating device located on end cap at side of operating work faces. Cap is provided with thermal-insulating coating and is made in the form of holder with individual built-in barrels with thermal-insulating walls and hermetic locks at side of operating work faces. Outlets of barrel bores in space of cylindrical member are provided with non-return valves. To produce foam of high inhibiting action, explosive cartridges are installed in barrels. This design allows for adjusting of foam-producing intensity without interruption for cooling of gas-generating device. EFFECT: high efficiency. 3 dwg
