FIELD: manufacture of fittings for plumbing systems. SUBSTANCE: valve head has body with threads, spindle, shut-off member engageable with spindle, sealing member made in the form of flexible tube and mounted in bore of body. End of flexible tube is directed towards fitting. length of cylindrical portion of spindle is sufficient for contact of its surface with sealing member over entire range of motion of spindle between its extreme positions. Circular clearance between surfaces of body and spindle is filled with grease. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 cl, 1 dwg
