FIELD: chemical industry; drying of grain materials at high moisture content in suspended state. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic drier comprises vertical pneumatic tube with moist material and heat-transfer agent supply branch pipes; tube is divided by detachable partition into two compartments. Partition is mounted on hopper located in lower portion which stops short of top of pneumatic tube forming swivel elbow; drier is also provided with exhaust branch pipe connected to cyclone. Partition is mounted along vertical axis of pneumatic tube; it is perforated in its lower portion and is provided with gates. Inner surface of pneumatic tube is provided with system of transfer shelves, additional branch pipe for supply of moist material fitted in its upper portion between hopper and exhaust branch pipe.
