FIELD: chemical industry; food-processing industry; microbiological industry; devices for drying of the dispersed materials.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the devices for drying of the dispersed materials and may be used in microbiological industry, food-processing industry, chemical industry and other industries. The technical result of the invention is the increased efficiency of drying. The result is attained by that in the spiral pneumatic dryer there is the spiral channel, which is hermetically closed from above and from below accordingly by the cover and the bottom with formation of the vortex chamber. The inlet fitting pipe is tangentially connected to the coils of the vortex chamber. The fitting pipe is used for feeding through it of the damp product in the mixture with the drying agent, and the number of the spiral turns "n" of the spiral channel lies in the optimal range from 4 up to 6. The spiral channel is connected to the cyclone separation chamber having in its lower part the hollow truncated cone used for formation of the boundaries of the vortexes of the streams going into the bin of the cyclone for unloading of the dry product and the additional stream of the drying agent coming in through the additional fitting pipe disposed in the outlet pipe of the cyclone with the inlet opening, which axis is perpendicular to the axis of the cyclone. At that in the outlet pipe of the cyclone there is the blade type or the snail-type swirler, the axes of the through holes of which are in parallel to the axis of the cyclone and the axis of the outlet hole of the exhaust fitting pipe of the outlet pipe of the cyclone is perpendicular to the axis of the cyclone. At that on the bottom of the spiral channel there is the fixed vibrator for improvement of the hydrodynamics of the process, removal of the damp or not-finished product stuck to the walls of the spiral channel. At that the optimal parameters for the vibration treatment are: the level of vibration lying in the range of 70... 85 dB, the vibration frequency is within the range of 31.5 - 125 Hz, the time of action is 5 sec with the interval of 30 seconds.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased efficiency of drying.
