FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: molten metal is heated in tapping opening over its outer surface at boundary with inner wall of tap-hole; heating is effected by means of super-high and high-frequency induction currents or super-high frequency induction currents. Tap-hole comprises coaxial hollow cylinders made from refractory material with induction heater placed in circular clearance between them. Induction heater is connected with super-high and high-frequency current generators. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 1 dwg
