FIELD: temperature measurement in food processing industry, metallurgy, agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method of measurement of temperature T of objects by their inherent radiation with unknown radiating capability involves collection and focusing of radiation, isolation of N spectral ranges, conversion of radiation in each i-th spectral range to electric signal, signal amplification. Two pairs of linear combinations are formed in path from signals of N spectral ranges and their relation is established. Parameters of linear combinations are chosen from condition of equality of ratio of first linear combination and second linear combination to absolute value of measured temperature.
