SUBSTANCE: stepped voltage shaper has pulse generator 1, counter 2, resistive matrix 3 of n weight registers 4.1 through 4n, feedback resistor 5, operational amplifier 6, variable resistor 7, unlike-polarity DC voltage supplies 8 and 9, resistor 10, dual-channel analog switch 11 with control input, and two-position switches 12.1 through 12n.
