FIELD: power supplied for automotive ac generators. SUBSTANCE: voltage regulator is provided with two switching transistors 31, 32, fourth collector resistor 33, two RC circuits 34, 35 and 36, 37, and shunt resistor 41; all these newly inserted parts, together with third collector resistor 25 and second shunt resistor 30, form multivibrator generating control pulse signals. The latter are control led by first transistor switch 20 and by newly introduced second power transistor switch 39. So, power dissipation in proposed regulator is uniform and takes place on two power transistor switches 20, 39 which, consequently, reduces failure probability caused by overheating of each of them. In addition, reliable self-excitation of generator power supply is ensured at low output voltage when operating without storage battery at low output voltage. EFFECT: improved reliability of voltage regulator; reduced power requirement of measuring and auxiliary stages. 2 dwg
