FIELD: fastening equipment. SUBSTANCE: fastening device has base with elongate article receiving slot, at least one guiding unit positioned on one slot wall, at least one movable member positioned for displacement along guiding unit in the direction of elongate article to be secured and displacement device, which joins movable member with guiding unit. Guiding unit has inclined surface and toothed rack rigidly attached to toothed rack so that it extends between opposite walls of slot. Movable member is made in the form of roller having two wheels and gear positioned between wheels and adapted for engagement with toothed rack.
