FIELD: biochemistry, enzymes. SUBSTANCE: raw (serum, precipitate B) is homogenized in acetate buffer, centrifuged and DEAE-Sephadex is added to supernatant and stirred. Ceruloplasmin is eluated at sodium chloride gradient concentrations. Eluate is subjected for diafiltration or diluted in order to precipitate high-molecular impurities. Protein concentration is 0.5- 2%, pH = 5.1-5.4, ionic strength is 0.01-0.04. Then preparation is settled for 6-12 h, centrifuged and concentrated by ultrafiltration. Purity of the end product is 95-99%, yield is 70-80%. Ceruloplasmin can be used for medicinal preparations preparing. EFFECT: improved method of preparing, increased yield. 2 tbl, 1 dwg
