FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: the offered electrode includes cylindrical end tip with narrowing end ending in working surface and made of composite material containing copper shell and core enclosed in this shell. Core consists of copper matrix with particles of one metal oxide (aluminium oxide, hafnium oxide and titanium oxide) uniformly distributed in matrix in the amount of 0.12-1.42 mas.%. In this case, size of oxide particles does not exceed 50 nm, and area occupied by shell equals, at least, 10% of maximum sectional area square to axis of end tip.
