FIELD: production of high-strength laminated plastic materials with biaxial orientation from unaxial layers obtained from bands having a strong molecular orientation. SUBSTANCE: flexible tubular polymeric film is fed to the initial position, in which it has a flat shape. From the initial position the film is pulled up on a former and moved over it carryout out helical cutting to obtain a band. Prior to pulling-up on the former and in the process of movement relative to it, the film is imparted the shape of a pipe and filled with air continuously fed through the former. The obtained rigid pipe is arranged on the former in a slide fit and offers resistance to deformation at cutting. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 6 cl, 2 dwg
