FIELD: plastic working of materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves extruding and blowing three-layer sleeve-shaped film, each layer having inner reinforcing layer of fibril structure defining prevailing direction of splitting; providing multilayer pack from layers obtained by spiral cutting of films at an angle of 10-80 deg relative to generatrix, with layers being interconnected so as to form intersecting directions of splitting; providing consecutive stretching of pack in longitudinal and transverse directions till ultimate drawing coefficient is within the range of 1.25:1 to 1.90:1 at 15-30 C. Transverse drawing process is conducted by guiding pack between rollers provided with interacting grooves. Transverse stretching process is provided by applying pressure to surface of laminated material along lines extending lengthwise of laminated material to impart wavy configuration to it. Biaxially oriented laminated material is subjected to thermal heating to obtain at least 7% shrinkage of laminated material in at least transverse direction.
