FIELD: manufacture of oriented laminated film with longitudinal-transverse arrangement of layers. SUBSTANCE: laminated polymeric film is made with ribs whose thickness exceeds the mean thickness of laminated film, having mainly concave and mainly convex surfaces forming the rib bendings in the transverse direction of film. Material near the ribs and at their edges in an unstressed state of the film is bent in the opposite direction with respect to the rib to impart mainly a rectified shape to material between the two adjacent ribs. The method of manufacture of laminated material provides for transversal stretching of laminated polymeric films at a temperature below the melting point of thermoplastic material, stabilization when imparting a folded shape. The conditions of stretching are so selected that folded sections would preserve this shape or memory of it. These folded sections are restored, at least partially producing a ribbed structure of laminated film. In the method of transversal stretching of film a flow of fluid medium in the form of air or water is passed through the clamps of rolls furnished with grooves on both sides of polymeric material. In the method of continuous two-axial stretching the first and second formings are accomplished. The conditions of the second forming are coordinated with the conditions of the first forming by selection of distances between the folds on the sheet and distances between the grooves on the rolls for compliance with each other. A bag is made of multilayer thermoplastic film. The device for two-axial stretching of continuous film has the first set of rolls furnished with grooves, stretching block, second set of rolls furnished with grooves with a drive, and an appliance for indicating the folds in the film coming out of the longitudinal stretching block. The device for transversal stretching of film of polymeric material has a pair of engageable rolls furnished with grooves, which have a circular or helical shape and are engageable in such a manner that the strip is engageable with the surfaces for rolls furnished with grooves only at the edges of their profiled part, and the appliance used to feed the flow of fluid cooling medium through the clamp of rolls-on one or both sides of the film.
