FIELD: glass molding equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to glass molding equipment operating under pressure. In a method of manufacturing glass molding equipment wherein capillary-porous structure is placed into hollow of casing of molding member (puncher, die or pressure ring) which is further filled with heat carrier, evacuated, and sealed, distinguishing feature is that evacuation is conducted until residual pressure no higher than 0.02 Pa is achieved and then degassing is carried out at the same pressure and heating molding member casing to a temperature higher than temperature of glass molding to achieve leakage no higher than 1.8 x 10-8 cu.m Pa/s. Further, molding member casing is cooled to a temperature exceeding that of heat carrier melting and filled with heat carrier. Capillary- porous structure and walls of hollow are wetted with heat carrier, residual non-condensing gases are removed, and hollow is sealed.
