FIELD: gyroscopic instrumentation while designing platform attitude-and-heading reference systems. SUBSTANCE: attitude-and-heated reference system has platform with two axes of frame suspension positioned in horizontal plane with system of indicator stabilization of platform along axes of frame suspension, two circuits of correction of position of platform in plane of horizon, aids to pick off angular information mounted on axes of frame suspension which form angles of pitch and roll correspondingly. Platform carries pickup of angular velocity based on two-degree-of-freedom gyro which measures angular velocity around azimuthal axis. Angle of heading is formed by integration of signal of pickup of angular velocity with insertion of corrections for angular velocity of the Earth and drift of pickup of angular velocity. Insertion of pickup of angular velocity into attitude-and-heading reference system excludes heading axis of platform which leads to reduced number of suspension frames of platform and result in simplification of its design. EFFECT: reduced number of suspension frames and simplified design of attitude-and-heading reference system. 1 dwg
