FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has front electrode, back electrode, first extension flange which is located in perpendicular to back end of front electrode along its periphery, second extension flange which is located in perpendicular to front end of back electrode along its periphery. Extension flanges are directed towards each other so that holes for passing electron beams are located practically inside said electrodes. Direct voltage is applied to front electrode and dynamic focusing voltage is applied to back electrode. Focusing voltage variation conforms to deviation and synchronization signals so that first electrode provides convex focusing lens which operates more in vertical direction than in horizontal one while back electrode provides concave negative lens which operates more in vertical direction than in horizontal one in order to extend image of electron beam in vertical direction. This results in additional effect on generation of round spot of electron beam on all surface of color kinescope screen. EFFECT: increased precision of focusing. 9 dwg
