FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves charging battery from discharged battery and rectified power supply current. Asymmetric current runs through two batteries. Corresponding device has two storage batteries, bridge rectifier which generates asymmetric current which output is connected to battery to be charged. Discharged battery is connected to bridge input in series to alternating current power supply. Device generates two asymmetric currents so that charge pulses of battery to be charged are used for forced power transmission to it.
