MASSEUR Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2088196 C1

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: masseur has carcass with guides and working members, each mounted for independent horizontal longitudinal displacement. Working member has at least two massaging units positioned for vertical and horizontal displacement as well as for rotation. Massaging units have heaters with temperature sensors and rollers arranged in diametrically opposed relation for movement relative to holder axis. Apparatus is further provided with main control unit and initial force setting unit, which are connected one with another. Each working member is provided with control unit connected with main control unit and horizontal, vertical and rotational motion detectors connected with control unit. Heater is formed as convex plate made from heat-insulating material and covered with current-conductive coat at its inner side. Usage of masseur allows metabolic processes to be stimulated, inflow of nutrients and outflow of waste residual products to be intensified and, as a result, pathologic process to be quickly eliminated. Masseur effectively heats and stretches separate parts of vertebral column, increases height of intervertebral disks, narrows edge osteophytes, eliminates occurrence of swelling of intervertebral disk jelly mass. EFFECT: increased efficiency by combined running about surfaces of regions to be massaged and moderate heating, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 8 dwg
