MANUAL MASSAGE METHOD Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61H7/00

Abstract RU 2722083 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to hand massage methods and is recommended both for a range of patients - from children to elderly people, and masseurs. It includes the following procedures: stroking, trituration, kneading, vibration and completion of stroking, some of which are performed in the longitudinal part, and a part - in the transverse directions of the massaged body softly, without jolts. Method differs in that, in the longitudinal direction, the masseur smoothly moves the body of the body without detaching the feet from the floor. Center of gravity of the body shifts forward or backward as sporting rolling. Posture height is kept constant, on one level. Masseur provides this posture with squat depth when performing smooth rolls. Hands of the massage therapist provide reciprocating movement at one depth of immersion in the treated surface. Translational movements are carried out without detachment and without raising the hands of the massage therapist over the body when they move forward or back when they are returned before the next massage. When performing massages across the patient's body, the masseur body is positioned in the full face direction relative to the horizontally elongated patient's body with the possibility of making an upper part of the body of pivotal-circular motions relative to the masseur’s spine with alternate extension of the pairs - right shoulder with the right hand. Then, left arm with left hand is of the type of running motion in swimming, while maintaining constant level of both arms of massage therapist.

EFFECT: claimed method is aimed at maintaining a high level of operability of a massage therapist without reducing the quality of massage and without excessive force exposure on the patient.
