FIELD: massage multipurpose devices for programmed automatic massage. SUBSTANCE: massage method is performed by rendering of mechanical effect on surface of patient's body with the aid of massage instrument moved according to program. Massage instrument is positioned on robot manipulator and moved over surface of patient's body with massage effect value checked simultaneously. Device for massage has massage instrument coupled to actuating device for controlled movement. Actuating device is made as manipulator of robot equipped with electromechanical drives and control system. Massage instrument carries sensor for measuring of massage effect value.
