VALVE Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: pipeline control valves. SUBSTANCE: valve has housing 1 with horizontal inlet and outlet branch pipes 2 and 3 respectively. The housing internally accommodates gate 18 associated with spindle 6 and provided with seal and hinge in its lover support, cover 4 and upright 5 with adjustment nut 10. Located on the nut are spindle drive unit in the form of drive bushing 7 and unit for rotation of gate 18 in the form of bushing 14 with curvilinear groove. Upright 5, adjusting nut 10 and drive bushing 7 have raceways "a", "b" and "c". Drive bushing 7 is engageable with upright 5 and adjustment nut 10 by means of balls 11 situated in the mentioned raceways. Placed between balls 11 are rings 12 the inner space of which is filled with lubricant. Pin 15 is radially installed on spindle 6 and lower portion of the pin is provided with centering belt "d" capable to retain spindle 6 in a fixed position. Bushing 14 of the unit intended to turn gate 18 is immovably secured on upright 5, the curvilinear groove of which receives pin 15 engageable with the groove.
