FIELD: valving.

SUBSTANCE: ball cock comprises hosing with inlet and outlet branch pipes, seat with seal, and valving member. The bottom support of the valving member is spherical, and the top support is made of two parallel pins and spindle mounted in the opening in the valving member. The end of the spindle is provided with two opposite sections with flat surfaces for cooperation with the pins. From the side of the inlet branch pipe the cock has a member for reducing the flow rate of the fluid made of overlapping washer mounted on the bearing ring pressed by flexible member. The reducing member is mounted at the boundary between the inlet branch pipe and valving member. At this site the outlet branch pipe diverges toward the valving member to define the radial space between the reducing member and housing.

EFFECT: prolonged service life and enhanced reliability.
