FIELD: heat technology. SUBSTANCE: heat accumulating material comprises granules from melting hypereutectic aluminium based alloy with 12.5-90 wt % silicon coated with ceramics. Granules are distributed in heat resistant carrier as follows (% by volume): 31.6-71.5 ceramics coated granules; up to 100 heat resistant carrier; ceramics coated granules have diameter of 1-20 mm. Granule coating consists of at least two layers. First layer contacting with hypereutectic alloy comprises aluminium and silicon oxides subsequent layers comprise refractory material with thermal expansion coefficient near to thermal expansion coefficient of hypereutectic alloy. Carrier is made of sintered refractory material or powdery material or heat resistant artificial fabric. EFFECT: improved properties of the heat accumulating material. 6 cl, 2 tbl
