HEAT ACCUMULATOR Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

Abstract RU 2123157 C1

FIELD: power engineering, chemical industry, public services, peak power stations operating with power generating plants and micro hydraulic electric stations; heating of water, steam and steam-air and steam-gas mixtures. SUBSTANCE: charging of heat accumulator is effected by means of inductor by melting two different density alloys completely mixing in molten state. Hypereutetic alloys Al - Si and more dense and light low-melting Ga, In, Sn, Bi - based alloys are used as melting substances. After termination of charging process inductor is set in waiting state, and discharging is done by means of liquid heat carrier through metallic heat exchanger located in heat insulation layer outside the inductor and/or by means of inductor in position corresponding to charging state. EFFECT: increased heat power of accumulator. 4 cl, 2 dwg
