FIELD: production of mechanical fastening systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves heating thermoplastic material to at least melting temperature; applying discrete portions of thermoplastic material by respective device to movable substrate; pulling thermoplastic material in the direction of vector guide extending in parallel to substrate so that serration bodies are formed; separating serrations from mentioned device and forming pinching member on free end of each serration. Serration bodies in substrate projection are arranged in inclined position relative to direction of movement of substrate at an angle of 20-160 deg, preferably 60-120 deg. Material with serrations produced by such method is used in absorbing article. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified method and enhanced reliability in operation. 10 cl, 9 dwg
