FIELD: polymers. SUBSTANCE: composition consists of water-insoluble hydrogel-forming polymer (mean mass size is 20-1500 mcm) and their aggregates. Particle aggregates were made by interaction of the parent polymeric particle with cross-linking agent. Mean mass size of aggregates exceeds that of the parent polymeric particles before cross-linking by less 50%. Composition properties: mean mass shift is 32.6-157%, absorbing capacity is 33.5-39.2 g/g, swelling velocity is 14.6-38.7 g/g/s, area surface is 0.033-0.169 cm2/g.
