FIELD: decorative treatment of solid material with use of computer. SUBSTANCE: to produce image on solid material, surface layer of material is destroyed. In this case, graphic image subject to reproduction is introduced into computer. Image is formed by program means translated into codes of actuating device. Codes are introduced into actuating mechanism with center punch. The offered method is embodied with the help of computer, controller and actuating device which has rectangular frame and impact mechanism with center punch moving in step mode along its axes.
