FIELD: transport engineering; wheeled trucks and tractors. SUBSTANCE: self-locking differential has differential train with carrier, plant pinions, central wheels rigidly connected with axle-shafts of driving wheels and locking arrangement. The latter is made in form of pair overrunning two-way clutches, each being additionally furnished with inertia disk with friction members and drivers of solids of revolution. Diving clutch members are rigidly connected to each other and to carrier. Each driven clutch member is connected with corresponding central wheel. Disks are freely fitted on axle-shafts. Solids of revolution are arranged in drivers, and friction members are installed to provide engagement of disk with driven clutch member at friction moment between members and disk smaller than inertia moment of disk relative to clutch member at wheel slipping and greater than this moment at maneuvering and starting from half.
