FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: self-locking differential is used in wheeled tractors, graders and cars of higher cross-country travel capacity. Self-locking differential has differential transmission and interlocking device. The latter has a clutch and control member. The control member includes angular-velocity transducers and circuit of measuring the quotient of angular velocity division and comparing it with preset critical value calculated by the formula. Output of the circuit is connected to servo drive through a rectifier. Driving half-coupling of the clutch is coupled to differential transmission carrier. Its driven half-coupling is mounted on slits of one of half-axles for axial displacement and is coupled to servo drive kinematically. EFFECT: simplified construction. 1 dwg
