FIELD: invention relates to methods for automating movement of an object and may be used in different fields of machinery for addressing the object to its new position with required accuracy when performing operations associated with movement of object. SUBSTANCE: object is moved by means of a mover on a path laid out (divided) into sections (parts). Position of object on sections of the path is controlled by sensors. Depending on signals received by sensors position of object is corrected relative to separate specified points on path sections with the aid of correction device .
