FIELD: devices for electrochemical analysis of gas atmospheres, determination of concentrations of sulphur-carrying gases. SUBSTANCE: additional measuring electrode in the form of graphite gauze is positioned in electrochemical cell between sulphide-conductive electrolyte and analyzed sulphur-carrying gas. Mixture of barium tioneodimate and neodymium sulfide with following proportion of components, molecular per cent: barium tioneodimate (BaNd2S4) 80.0-95.0, neodymium sulfide (Nd2S3) being the balance is used in the capacity of sulphide-conductive solid electrolyte. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities thanks to detection of sulphur-carrying gases which are or are not compounds of sulphur with oxygen, increased accuracy and sensitivity of measurements, enhanced reliability of structure of cell and prolonged service life. 4 dwg, 1 tbl
