FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anion-conducting inorganic solid electrolytes and specifically to ceramic solid electrolytes, having high sulphide ion conductivity in the temperature range of (300-500°C), and can be used to investigate crystalline and amorphous semiconductor sulphides by an emf technique, as part of electrochemical cells for coulometric variation of the composition of nonstoichiometric compounds and for gas analysis of sulphur-containing media, in solid-electrolyte current sources. The alloy for the solid electrolyte with primary sulphide ion conductivity contains calcium sulphide, sesquialteral ytterbium sulphide and sesquialteral yttrium sulphide in defined quantitative ratios.
EFFECT: wider field of use of the solid electrolyte owing to higher amount of compositions with optimum electrolytic properties and wider operating temperature range in the region of lower temperatures.
