FIELD: chemical industry, mechanical engineering, petrochemical industry, powder metallurgy for analysis of diffusion chrome steel and articles from chrome carbides. SUBSTANCE: proposed electrochemical method of analysis includes anode polarization of specimen in alkali and determination of electrochemical parameters. During layer-by-layer analysis polarization is conducted under constant potential corresponding to potential of re-passivation with interruptions for determination of chrome and iron in solution products.
