FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: safety and disconnecting switch has base mounting two insulators with top and bottom sets of break contacts, automatic and manual cut-out mechanism, cartridge functioning as arc-control chamber and as disconnecting switch blade. S-shaped bracket mounted on top end of cartridge is engageable with operating rod during ON- and OFF-operations when operating as disconnecting switch.
