FIELD: manufacture of lead storage batteries. SUBSTANCE: depressions are made on both sides of cover 9, bosses 8 and inbetween holes are made on two sides of each depression; vertical pole terminals 2 are made of planar conical shape with steps in top part; pole terminals 2 are installed in depressions of cover 8 so that steps of pole terminals 2 are passed through holes between bosses 8 of cover 9, and pole terminals 2 are welded together. EFFECT: reduced labour consumption, improved repairability and sealing reliability, reduced material consumption, improved performance characteristics of storage battery. 3 dwg
