FIELD: electromechanical linear actuating mechanisms whose rod periodically changes its direction. SUBSTANCE: electric drive has electric motor, screw-type rotary-to-translational movement converter, and pneumatic pump for cooling mechanism case. End shields 4, 5 are provided with flanges 8, 9 to which hood 10 is attached. Lead screw 7 carrier on its ends pistons 12, 13. Flanges 8, 9 and pistons 12, 13 are provided with axial through holes receiving pneumatic check valves 14-17 held open in the direction from case to lead screw run-out.
