FIELD: electromechanical linear actuators with unidirectional axial load. SUBSTANCE: electric drive is combination of electric motor, screw-type rotary-to-translational movement converter, and brake. Brake electromagnet is built up of two coaxial ferromagnetic cylinders 9,11 joined with case and carrying annular winding 12 inbetween, as well as ferromagnetic disk 13 coupled with shaft 3 and placed in axially spaced relation to end surfaces of cylinders facing bearing unit 5 that takes axial load. Brake disks 14, 16 are mounted on electromagnet opposite side. EFFECT: improved service life due to reduced load on bearing unit taking axial load. 1 dwg
