FIELD: shipbuilding; operation of vessels in delivery to area of operation. SUBSTANCE: submersible vehicle includes streamlined outside hull with hard-chine bottom at deadrise towards aft extremity. Lines of fore extremity are engageable with lines of bilge by break. Method of lowing submersible vehicle consists in placing the vehicle behind stern of towing vessel after which they are connected by means of towing rope. After delivery of submersible vehicle to required area, towing vessel is disconnected from submersible vehicle. Before motion, submersible vehicle is oriented by its stern forward. After beginning of motion, dynamic lifting force is created under bottom of towed vehicle in area of aft extremity at towing speed ranging from 10 to 30 knots and in area of fore extremity separated flow is created around hull. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 3 dwg
