FIELD: emergency rescue equipment and methods of its use.

SUBSTANCE: to supply electrical cables, hoses, towing ropes and small-sized cargo to the vessel, which consists in bringing electrical cables, hoses, towing ropes, and containers of small-sized cargo to the side of the vessel using a remotely controlled towing device. A towing device is used that has paddle wheels rotated by an electric motor for movement on water or ice, along the surface of the side of the vessel, and a guide wheel to change the direction of movement of the towing device, which rests against the side of the vessel by the pressure force created by the rotating paddle wheels pushing the towing device forward, thanks to the initial trim of the towing device to the stern, and the corresponding filling of the stern ballast chambers, rolls up along the surface of the ship's side.

EFFECT: delivery of the terminal parts of cables, towing ends of containers of small cargo to the side of an emergency vessel by towing them through water, as well as their lifting to the required level of the vessel's side using this device is achieved.
