FIELD: rocketry; construction of devices for transmission of longitudinal loads between stages in devices for separation of launch vehicle stages. SUBSTANCE: launch vehicle includes stages 1 and 2 arranged in tandem with peripheral tank units 3 and 4 and stage separation device which is provided wish flexible inflatable reservoirs 8 located in clearance between bottoms of above-mentioned units and interconnected for communication. Each reservoir is made in form of cylinder with two bottoms which are concave inside. Shape of bottoms copies that of bottoms of peripheral tank units of both stages. Each reservoir is secured to upper bottom of peripheral tank unit 4 of lower stage 2. When pressure is delivered to reservoirs 8, they become inflated, thus providing for additional pulse for impactless axisymmetric separation of stages at simultaneous in-flight redistribution of loads and consequently reducing the structural mass of stages.
