FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new yeast strain Yarrowia lipolytica VKM Y-2820D. By-side products or waste from ethanol production were used as carbon source for the indicated strain culturing. Process is carried out in fermenter using withdrawal cultural fluid and addition of nutrient medium or in fermenter fitted with diaphragm modulus and continuous or periodical permeate removing. Method of product isolation involves the following stages: removal concomitant ions by solution passing through strong-acid cation-exchange resin in salt form and middle-basic anion-exchange resin in citrate form, decoloration of the obtained solution using clearing ion-sorbent in salt form, evaporation, crystallization and drying.
