SUBSTANCE: invention concerns cellulose solutions fit to form films and fibers and consists in that cellulose, prior to be dissolved, is subjected to solid-phase activation in shear stress and pressure conditions. As solvent, cold alkali aqueous solution is used. Cellulose is activated in presence of solid alkali and additives under conditions providing cellulose polymerization degree in alkali aqueous solution not lower than 300.
